Bob Bellerue

Bob Bellerue (b. 1968, Los Angeles) is an American composer and performer of music.[1]

In 2003, Bellerue studied at California Institute of the Arts, with contemporaries Mark Trayle, Morton Subotnick, Vinny Golia, and Dick Hebdige, and received an MFA in Music.

He has been a performer of experimental noise music, the founder of the Il Corral venue, a sound engineer, and videographer, and runs his own web sites, Anarchymoon Recordings and Cold Hands Video.He has published recordings, and has performed in the United States, Europe, and Indonesia, either solo, with the ensembles KILT and Purple Pansy, or in collaboration with experimental music artists: Circuit Wound, Jarrett Silberman, Raven Chacon, Francisco Meirino, Albert Ortega, and David Kendall.

Bellerue has composed soundtracks for theater and dance artists Wanda Gala, Carol McDowell, Lauren Hartman, Michael Sakamoto, Rochelle Fabb, Empire of Teeth, and The Greatfruit Collective.

He lives in Bushwick, New York.
